Dwayne O’Connor’s Amazing Transformation After Being Cheated On

The 26-year-old from Derby (UK) got SHREDDED after finding out the bad news.
There’s a lot of stories about guy’s being f*cked over in relationships, going into a temporary depression, then starting to lift heavy *ss weights.
Well, Dwayne O’Connor has caught the attention of the media for this very reason.
But usually the guys just lose a load of weight. Well, this guy right here, he’s gotten absolutely shredded and looks ready to sign contracts as a fitness model.
Fair play, bro.

Girlfriend had an affair

After being in a relationship for 4 years, Dwayne found out that the piece-of-sh*t (now ex) girlfriend was having an affair.
At the time, Dwayne was a personal trainer at a gym, but wasn’t exactly in the best shape himself.
Speaking to Men’s Health, Dwayne said:
“My relationship was four years old at this point, but like most love stories, it ended in heartbreak.
“I came to realize my partner was having an affair and once I confronter her about this situation she posted her keys through the door and said it was over.
“My confidence, pride and self-worth were at an all-time low. I stopped playing basketball and I even stopped going to the gym other than to go to work.”

The ‘Revenge Body’

After a period of downtime, he finally found the motivation to begin his own fitness journey and shred the weight.
He was determined to sculpt a shredded ‘revenge body’. And that’s exactly what he achieved.

How long did it take him? Just 6 months, not bad eh?
Dwayne explained where he found the motivation to succeed:
“Six months might seem fast but because I was a fitness instructor before the break up, I already had a few years of training behind me, so I had a decent amount of muscle already.
“The motivation came from the lack of control I felt in my personal love life. When a situation happens like an affair there’s not much you can do about it. You just have to sit there and let it happen.
‘I went on a journey looking for progression instead of perfection and that’s where I found balance. I’m much more comfortable within myself and I try to send that positivity out to others.”
